Hi, I'm angélique nguyễn green, and I've been fundraising for movement-building organizations for nearly two decades.

I began my career in the nonprofit sector in 2008, progressing from Development Associate to Chief Advancement Officer, where I oversaw the Development and Communications teams. Over the past 13 years, I've held leadership roles at Groundswell Fund, Groundswell Action Fund, Popular Democracy, Popular Democracy Action, National Domestic Workers Alliance, Care in Action, the Center for Law and Social Policy, and the Institute for Policy Studies. Throughout my career, I've focused on creating and scaling infrastructure, staffing, and culture that align with each organization's values, vision, stage of development, and position in the social movement ecosystem—all to ensure fundraising success.

I raise money to build people power.

I work within and for movement-building organizations that are creating a world where everyone thrives. As a queer, neurodivergent, biracial woman from a low-income, working-class background, I understand the importance of creating spaces where people with multiple, intersecting marginalized identities can choose to pursue careers in fundraising and development, and sustain themselves in these roles in service of movements that reflect the communities they come from.

Beyond my work.

I currently live in the Washington, D.C. area (the unceded lands of the Piscataway and Doeg) with my beautiful, blended family. I have deep roots in the Netherlands, East Los Angeles, and the DMV. Outside of work, I enjoy reading poetry, completing crosswords, perfecting Vietnamese recipes, daydreaming about screenplays, and catching live music.

Let’s connect.

If you think I’d be a good fit for your needs, drop me a line and let’s find a time to talk.
